Hi ya’ll! I almost forgot about today’s post! Things have been hectic lately, so I’m going to keep things short but sweet this week! Last night, I read Brutal Prince by Sophie Lark, and I mean that. I started the book and finished it in one night, though the amount of sleep I got that night may be suspect.

Here’s the blurb:

He’s No Prince Charming…

Callum Griffin is the heir to the Irish Mafia. He’s ruthless, arrogant, and he wants to kill me.

We got off on the wrong foot when I set a (very small) fire in his house.

Our families believe a marriage pact is the only thing that will prevent all-out warfare.

I think I might need to murder him while he sleeps.

This would all be a lot easier if Callum wasn’t so damned good-looking.

But I’ve got a lockbox around my heart. Because even if I’m forced to marry him…

I could never love a brutal prince.

Ya’ll, this book was such a fun spicy, and action-filled romp! I loved Aida and her strength and badassery throughout this whole book, and I loved hating the Griffins for the first half of the book (maybe a little more than the first half). Not to mention Aida’s brothers! In short, the cast of characters in this book is quite the cast to read about and I enjoyed following their escapades immensely! The whole enemies-to-lovers thing in the book was spicy, and, if I’m gonna admit, hilarious amidst how infuriating it was to read about. Some of the things that Cal and Aida do to each other are so out of the left field that I couldn’t help snickering, and sometimes, full-out laughing. Overall, Brutal Prince was a satisfying, light read that kept me hooked till the end. Now I’m looking forward to reading about the other characters in the next books! Anywho, if you’re looking for a spicy, light, Mafia, enemies-to-lovers romance, I recommend this book to you!

Happy Reading!

Renee
